Fill PDF forms online
Complete existing fillable PDF fields for free on your device. Enter text, tick checkboxes and select available options, then review the completed document.
How to fill a PDF form
- Choose your PDF. If it has standard AcroForm fields, the editor lists the supported fields.
- Enter values and choose options. Apply updates the working PDF so you can continue editing; Preview lets you check the result.
- Choose whether to flatten the fields, then Save and Download the reviewed PDF. Keep your original blank form for later use.
Fillable fields versus a scanned blank form
This tool fills existing AcroForm fields. It does not create new fields or automatically turn a scan into an interactive form. XFA forms and unusual custom fields may not work. If no fields are found, request a fillable version from the document's author.
Editable or flattened output
Keep fields interactive if the recipient needs to change them. Flattening places their displayed values into the page so those form fields are no longer editable. Neither option prevents someone from using other software to change the document.
Sign and protect the result
Use Sign PDF to place a signature image after completing the form. This is a visual signature, not a certificate-backed digital signature. If you need an opening password, use Protect PDF after checking the completed pages.
Local document processing
Form contents are processed by the browser tools without being uploaded for processing. Downloads remain wherever you save them. Informational pages may load ads or analytics; the document-opening page excludes them. Read the privacy policy before using confidential material.
Frequently asked questions
Can I fill a PDF form without an account?
Yes. Filling supported existing PDF fields is free and does not require an account.
Why does my PDF show no form fields?
It may be a scan, a non-fillable document or an unsupported form type. This tool does not create fields. Ask the author for an AcroForm PDF.
Can I keep the fields editable?
Yes. Leave flattening off if fields must remain interactive, and check the exported file in the recipient’s PDF viewer.
Does flattening secure the document?
No. Flattening removes the interactive form fields, but does not make the PDF tamper-proof or remove other sensitive information.
